1. This book was very good and it related to a child in the revolutionary China. Whose name was Ji-li and she was stuck in the revolutionary China. This book is especially good for people who likes country stories. Fot me this book was kind of boring because I don't like country stories.

2.This book related to cultural revolution because during a cultural revolution happens then everything in the country would change. Sometimes the change is good for the country and sometimes it is bad for the country.
3. What was your favorite/most interesting part and/or character of the book?
3. My most interesting part in the book was the beginning because it was the time when everybody was happy and they had Song-popo, which made them feel even better, because Ji-li and the other kids counted her as a second grandmother. The best character in the book which I liked the most is Bai-shan because he was the person who helped everyone and never got into trouble.
